Awarding "Vietnam Prestigious - Quality Businesses 2007"
VCCI HCM City and the Vietnam Enterprises Network on June 30, 2007 organised a reception for granting ISO9001:2000 certificates, and handing out “Vietnam prestigious - quality businesses 2007” certificates for 110 enterprises.
Attendants to the ceremony included Mr Ha Ke Tuan, deputy director of Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Trade), Mr Pham Quynh Giang, deputy general director of Vinexad Company (Ministry of Trade), Dr Nguyen Minh Chi, chairman of International Arbitration Centre, Dr Nguyen Phuc Nghiep, director of NQA in Vietnam, Mr Wieger D. Otter, NQA representative in Vietnam and Mr Nguyen Duc Tuan, vice director of the editorial board of Trade Picture Advertisement Information Magazine.
The “Vietnam Prestigious - Quality Businesses 2007” selection programme aims to help Vietnamese enterprises secure sustainable development, enhance competitiveness, and consolidate consumer trust in both intensive and extensive integration. According to the organising board, selection criteria are very strict and winning enterprises must reach from 85 to 100 marks.
This is the first selection round in 2007. In 2007, the organising board will have many other trade promotion programmes with further assistance for enterprises.
