Textile Firm Earns US$41Mln from Mosquito Net Exports in H1

The 10-10 Textile Joint Stock Company reported to earn US$41 million from exporting mosquito nets in the first six months this year, up 26 per cent on-year, state media said Thursday.
 
The Hanoi- based textile company is leading the whole sector in terms of production growth of 28.3 per cent over last year, reaching VND674.7 billion (US$42 million) in revenue.
 
The company’s products have been exported mainly to Asia and Africa, said its website.
 
Expected by November 10 this year, the company’s 300-ha garment factory in Gia Lam district, Hanoi will start operation with modern technology imported from Germany, said a senior official, adding that it will produce 1 million mosquito nets yearly.
 
The Hanoi People’s Committee-owned company targets to obtain US$88 million from exports this year, up from US$80 million last year, noted the official.
