Vietnam to Host 1st Eco-Products Int'l Fair Early March
The International Fair on Ecological Products (EPIF 2008) themed “For Sustainable Development And Better Life” will take place at the Hanoi-based National Commission Center from March 1-4.
The fair, to be first organized in Vietnam, will include 300 pavilions of 60 firms and organizations from Japan, South Korea, China, Germany, Singapore, Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Participants are expected to display and introduce environmental- friendly products such as metal steel, polymer materials, natural materials, and energy-saving equipments.
EPIF 2008 will be co-organized by the Asian Productivity Organization (APO), the Vietnam General Department of Standard Metrology and Quality and relevant agencies.
The annual event, inaugurated first in 2004 by APO, is aimed at enhancing environmental protection propaganda, raising the community's awareness on public health and encouraging environmental-friendly products. (Pioneer)
