US$500-Mln Resort to Be Built in Central Vietnam
Local Hoan Cau Limited Company has invested over US$500 million to build a luxury resort in central Nha Trang city, central Khanh Hoa province, the Vietnam Economic Times said May 19.
The Diamond Bay Resort to be located in the south of the city will house a five-star entertainment area, hotels and Emerald and Sapphire areas, the newspaper said.
Other facilities include a trade center, a multi-functional stage with a record capacity of 7,500 seats and an 18-hole golf course.
Construction on the resort will be divided into four phases and is scheduled for completion by 2015.
This year, Khanh Hoa targets to welcome 1.5 million visitors with estimated revenues of VND1.2 trillion, up 10.3 per cent and 17.6 per cent on-year respectively. (Vietnam Economic Times)
