Vietnam Northern City to Get US$750-Mln Resort
The Amco Mibaek Vina Co Ltd will pour US$750 million to build a luxury resort complex in northern port Haiphong city, Vietnam News Agency reported May 28.
The Song Gia complex to cover a 550-hectare site in Thuy Nguyen District will include parks, villas, a cultural village and a resort.
The company will complete the site clearance soon and will start construction in the third quarter of this year.
Located on the Pacific Ocean, or “East Sea”, Haiphong is a wonderful place for rest and traveling with a lot of nice landscapes such as famous Do Son Peninsula, Cat Ba Archipelago and Lan Ha Bay.
It is also home to numerous ancient temples, pagodas, mausoleums and shines, including Du Hang pagoda, Hang Kenh Communal House, Nguyen Binh Khiem Temple, Traditional buffalo Fighting celebration in Do Son beach and Competition and Traditional Songs Festivities in Thuy Nguyen. (VNS)
