China-Central Vietnam Sea Tourism Route to Open soon
The Hainan Department of Tourism from March 9-11 paid a visit to central Vietnam to study the feasibility to open a sea tourism route linking Hainan, China with Danang City of Vietnam.
Danang particularly and the central Vietnam generally boast huge potentials for sea tourism development. The opening will facilitate sea tourism development between the cities and the nationals as well, an official from the Hainan Tourism Department said.
Other details of the opening have not been made available at the moment.
Yunnan, another Chinese locality on March 10 also inked an agreement on tourism cooperation with four localities of Vietnam namely Quang Ninh, Haiphong, Lao Cai and Hanoi.
The central Vietnam will welcome 25 travel firms from Hong Kong which want to survey the local tourism potentials from March 13-15.
To help give impetus to the industry, the Government has agreed to provide VND30 billion (US$1.8 million) for a range of promotional activities. (Labor, Young People)
