Binh Thuan province has rich resources for tourism development. Not only endowed with a 192 km coastline, Binh Thuan also has many captivating locations like Mui Ne and Mui Ke Ga or historical and cultural relics like Poshanu Towers, Ta Cu Temple and Thay Thim Palace to create a complex of attractive tourist destinations. Indeed, provincial resources are ideal for developing maritime resort, disease-curing tourism, health-strengthening tourism, diving and water sports, sand surfing, adventure tourism and forest eco-tourism.

Resort capital of Vietnam
Binh Thuan is now home to more than 100 resorts, 125 hotels with over 4,240 rooms, including 57 ranked 1-4 stars, to serve tourists and investors. Annually, these accommodations serve more than 1.5 million tourists. In the past 10 years, Mui Ne - Phan Thiet - Binh Thuan has become a national tourist trademark. From a primitive bionetwork, Mui Ne was turned into a busy and luxury resort. Along the coast from Phu Hai to Mui Ne – Hom Rom (Phan Thiet city), there are dozens of resorts. Among them, the Saigon Mui Ne Resort, which is operated by Saigon Mui Ne Tourism and Hotel Joint Stock Company, is the most popular. Annually, the Saigon Mui Ne Resort serves more than 16,000 visitors. Opened in 2007, the Sunny Beach targets French people and honeymoon couples. This destination deeply impresses viewers with its strange-looking and unique-styled architecture featured with a silky meadow and spotted with well-arranged cartwheels, boats and statues here and there. All of its details creates a harmonious combination of oriental and western architecture and features Vietnamese culture. The Romana Resort & Spa is only 8 km from the downtown of Phan Thiet City to the northeast. Facing the sea and surrounded by hills on three sides, Romana Resort & Spa outstands its neighbours.
Yachting
With a long coastline, Binh Thuan is a source of inspiration for tourists. From October to April, strong winds and waves create a new hobby of yachting. This leisure pursuit uses the winds and waves and requires excellent manoeuvring from its seafarers. Thus, yachting is doable after two hours of practice. In the first few days, yachters practice on small waves before testing stronger wave surges and currents. Over the past five years, international visitors flock to Fullmoon, Salling Club, Saigon Mui Ne and other resorts in October to try out wind-surfing and kite-surfing in Ham Tien seawater. The clean blue water and windy waves make beach-goers feel like they are in paradise. Many foreign visitors even bring yachts from their homes to enjoy the sea around Binh Thuan. It is an exciting adventure.
Mui Ne mud bathing centre: Directing people to nature
In 2003, investors started exploring mineral water in 2003 to use cheap mineral water for mud bathing in Mui Ne. Natural mud and mineral mix wipes away dead cells, invigorates health and strengthens one’s appetite. The presence of Mui Ne mud bathing centre has surprised and interested many people and attracted tourists. In Binh Thuan, one can contemplate the blue sea and white sand while soaking in mineral mud.
Covering on an area of 17.5 ha, the resort can serve all customers. Investors have made this place a paradise of sand and wind.
Golfing in Binh Thuan
Golf was introduced in Binh Thuan to develop the tourism industry. Golf is not only a healthy and costly sport but also an instrument to boost trade promotion activities. Many business deals have been negotiated on golf courses in Binh Thuan. Local golfers also set up the Binh Thuan Golf Association which teaches young talented golfers. Mr. Tran Thanh Hiep, chairman of the association, said the Binh Thuan tourism industry is developing alongside the sport of golf. The attractive golf-links increase the success of business deals. At present, Binh Thuan has two golf courses: Sea Links Phan Thiet and Ocean Dunees.
