Vietnam Airlines Continues Cutting Fares for Tourists

Vietnam Airlines will continue to offer airfare discounts for tourists of travel firms from October 1 to December 31, 2009. This third discount of over 50 % will be applied to domestic routes, including Saigon - Hue/Da Nang or Saigon - Vinh/Hai Phong/Ha Noi.

Besides, Vietnam Airlines Corp will offer discounts for routes with many passengers or routes with more difficulty to buy tickets like Saigon - Nha Trang (return) at VND810,000, Saigon - Da Lat (return) at VND810,000. Especially, the return ticket for Saigon - Dong Hoi (Quang Binh) - Ha Noi - Saigon is only VND1.65 million a return ticket.

 

According to travel companies, in September 2009, the number of passengers enjoying discounts was 420, equal to 23 % of August with 1,844 passengers.
