Vietnam Calling on Malaysian Investors for Infrastructure, Tourism Projects

Vietnam is calling on Malaysian investors for projects in the areas of tourism, infrastructure and manufacturing, said Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen The Phuong at a conference held in Malaysia on December 17.
 
Addressing the conference entitled “Trade and investment opportunities in Vietnam,” Phuong said Vietnam will pilot public-private partnership model in infrastructure development in Long Thanh-Dau Giay expressway next year.
 
Malaysia takes the lead among the ASEAN investors and the 3rd worldwide in terms of making foreign direct investment in Vietnam with 342 projects worth $18 billion.
 
The conference was co-chaired by the Vietnamese embassy in Malaysia and the Malaysian Trade Development Company. (VNA)
