Vietnam MARD to Speed up ODA, State Budget-funded Projects
The Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) will speed up agricultural projects financed by the government bonds and the official development assistance (ODA) this year.
The ministry has required for closer cooperation from provinces in side clearance of reservoir construction and flood prevention projects.
In the first two months, the MARD disbursed only VND254.54 billion of ODA and government’s bonds capital on agricultural projects, meeting only 9.10% of plan. Of the total, only 2.65 billion was poured into national goal-projects. (New Hanoi)
