Vietjet Opens Flight between Vietnam and Russia

Vietjet, on November 24, announced the plan to launch flights connecting Vladivostok and Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Danang, Hue, and Phu Quoc. This announcement was made during the official visit to Coat of Arms of Russian Federation by the Secretary General Nguyen Phu Trong of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Moving forward, Vietjet will continue to expand the flight network from Vietnam to other provinces in Russia.
 
The flight between Hanoi and Vladivostok will be initially operated since May 2015 with three round trips per week. The flight duration is around four hours.
 
Russian people enjoy beautiful beaches and landscape in Vietnam and have also invested in Vietnam. Vietnamese people are with great hospitality and in fruitful relationship with Russian people and countries of the former Soviet Union. This flight linking Vietnam and Russia will help boost bilateral tourism and commercial activities as well as to meet the growing travel demand of the two countries.
 
Following the flight from Vladivostok to destinations in Vietnam, Vietjet will connect this flight to such Southeast countries as Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore with the only stop in Vietnam.
