Vedan Well Performs Labour Safety and Fire Protection
Vedan Vietnam Enterprise Corporation Limited recently cooperated with the Fire Police of Dong Nai to organise a large-scale fire fighting and rescue rehearsal to raise its employees’ awareness of fire prevention.
This activity responded to the 18th National Week on Occupational Safety and Health – Fire and Explosion 2016, held from March 20 to 26, 2016, under the theme “Companies and employees actively perform rights and obligations under the Law on Occupational Safety and Health.”
The rehearsal engaged some 200 people, including 30 fire fighters from the Fire Police of Dong Nai province, who instructed trainees how to escape and conduct rescue in a fire.
The rehearsal is an annual activity of Vedan Vietnam, aimed to raise its employees’ awareness of fire prevention in production and enhance public perception in fire prevention and rescue.
