QTSC-VNCI Cooperation

On July 29, 2005, Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) and VNCI - project on competition capacity building of USAID signed an agreement on technology development to improve managerial skills and attract FDI. Mr Robert Webster, VNCI Director said that the cooperation will upgrade QTSC management, attracting more foreign investment , especially from the US,  bringing QTSC abreast with international advanced software parks.

It is the second project of cooperation between VCCI and VNCI. The first was to support the capacity building of Vietnamese small and medium enterprises. The VNCI project will be implemented from three to five years in three parts :  policy environment (in cooperation with VCCI on research and announcement of PCI indexes),  capacity building foe Vietnamese small and medium enterprises (including support for Hanoi and HCMC’s software industry, fruit sector, household utensils, Ha Long tourism, and the banking sector), and helping businesses in financial access ( in cooperation with joint stock commercial banks).
