500 Well-known Trademarks in Vietnam Awarded

The survey of “Well-known Vietnamese trademarks” conducted by AC Nielsen VN will make public the prizes won in 2006. The awarding ceremony will be held on April 5, 2006. The programme is initiated by VCCI with the co-operation of Vietnam Business Forum magazine, Telecommunication & Life Company, and AC Nielsen VN.
 
With 3,000 survey samples, AC Nielsen VN has conducted in all three parts of Vietnam on local long-term residents ranging from 15 to 60 years of age. Among 1,000 trademarks of 10 industries have been selected, 10 most famous and 500 other trademarks will awarded, and nearly 50 per cent of them are Vietnamese.
 
According to the representative of AC Nielsen VN, three Vietnamese trademarks have been highly valued are real-estate, fashion and non-electrical purable products. In recent years, Vietnamese businesses are more interested in developing their trademarks. Mr Nguyen Van Giap, Deputy Director, Industrial property and technology transfer consulting company made known that though the feed-back are excellent but certain related companies failed to register their trademarks.
 
Beside the awarding ceremony and “Brand vision” Festival, the organising committee will introduce publication “Vietnamese well-known trademarks 2006” and website www.thuonghieunoitieng.info . In the future, the survey will expand to include even Vietnamese trademarks in foreign countries.
