Vietnam's Information and Communication Technology Overview in 2006

On July 4, 2006, International Data Group in Vietnam (IDG Vietnam), the Ho Chi Minh City Informatics Association and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) organised a conference to introduce the 11^th annual Vietnam Computerelectronics Worldexpo 2006 in the Ho Chi Minh City International Exhibition & Convention Centre (HIECC) from July 11 to 15, 2006.

Representatives of the Organising Committee said this is the most important event of the ICT industry and is a place for government leaders, policymakers and experts to contact and exchange experience about the ICT development, update information about the state-of-the-art technologies and apply IT to production.

With the participation of over 200 enterprises from the EU, the US, Singapore, Hong Kong and other countries, the event will be the most attention of concerned persons. Especially, the enclosed conferences will also discuss digital content industry in 2006. Many products of digital content industry manufactured by Vietnamese enterprises will be also introduced at the event.
