11 Enterprises Honored Corporate Social Responsibility Award 2006

The granting ceremony of the Award “Corporate Social Responsibility 2006 – Vietnam Leather Footware and Textile Industry" was celebrated on 18 January 2007 in Hanoi. In the ceremony, 11 leather footware and textile enterprises well implementing corporate social responsibility 2006 were officially recognized and honored.

This is the second year this award is organized. The award is organized under the consultancy of the domestic and foreign research organisations in the field of social responsibility such as:  the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry(VCCI), Ministry of Industry, the Labor Safety Department under the Ministry of Labor.

Shyang Hung Cheng Joint Stock Company won the first prize; 2 enterprises winning the second prize are PhongPhu Corporation and Tae Kwang Vina Co.; 3 enterprises winning the third prize are Red River Joint Stock Company, Viettien Garment, Hanosimex Corporation; and 5 enterprises winning the encouraging prizes.
