Vietnam Refined Oil Imports Down 47.3% to US$5.298B in Jan-Oct
Vietnam spent US$5.298 billion on importing 11.064 million metric tons of petroleum products in the first ten months of this year, down 47.3% from a year earlier in value but up 1.4% in volume, the Ministry of Industry and Trade said.
Among the products, the nation imported 5.651 million metric tons of diesel worth US$2.737 billion, 3.222 million metric tons of gasoline valued at US$1.71 billion, and 1.584 million metric tons of fuel oil worth US$519 million between January and October, the ministry said.
In October, the country imported 1.113 million metric tons of the products worth US$616.8 million, up 37.7% and 9.1% from last year, respectively.
