The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) co-operated with Vietnam Television to organise the Entrepreneurs’ Party on October 12, 2005 night to mark the Vietnamese Entrepreneurs’ Day, October 13, which was themed ‘Entrepreneurs - Solders of Peace Time.’
Addressing the party, Vu Tien Loc, president of VCCI, stressed the Entrepreneurs’ Day was not only a festival for entrepreneurs but also an opportunity for them to exchange ideas and experience of their life and business activities.
Also on this occasion, VCCI, the Vietnam Confederation of Labour (VGCL), and the International Labour Organisation (ILO) presented the Thanh Giong (Giong God) Cup to ten outstanding entrepreneurs who recorded good results in labour using in 2005. The Cup is a prize, whose winners are jointly selected by VCCI, VGCL and ILO. On behalf of the prize winners, Nguyen Dinh Truong, director of the Viet Tien Garment Company, shared his experience on labour relationship. Truong said that to settle disputes with labourers, employers should consider problems from the point of view of labourers.
The organisers held an exchange meeting with successful entrepreneurs and young entrepreneurs, born in the 1980s.
