Datadot Technology Presents Asset Identification Technology
On June 29 in Hanoi, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and DataDot Technology Co. Ltd cooperated to open a seminar on asset identification and definition technology for nearly 100 Vietnamese enterprises. Mr. Nguyen Son, Director Assistant of DataDot Vietnam, said, the DataDot technology has a lot of similarities to DNA technology to identify assets and products.
DataDot is as tiny as a grain of sand – high tech polyester substrate particles suspended in a clear drying adhesive with a UV trace. These particles or DataDots are all laser-etched with the relevant identification number.
DataDot is applied to minimise the production of counterfeits, protect registered trademarks, or help find lost assets, even when they are reshaped. This technology can apply to all types of products like vehicles, brands on leather products, jewellery, garments, textiles, footwear, consumer goods, foodstuff and cosmetics.
