Vietnam to Organize First Culture-Sports-Tourism Expo in Aug 2009
Vietnam will organize an exhibition and fair on culture, sports and tourism, the first of its kind, in August this year in order to honor the sector’s values and facilitate firms operating in the field to advertise products, services and boost the coordination.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism declared the event at a pres briefing held Apr 7 in Hanoi.
The event, slated to take place from August 3-9 at Hanoi-based Giang Vo Exhibition Center, will be also among activities towards the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi and the Exhibition on Vietnamese Economic, Cultural Achievements in 2010.
A series of seminars, brand selections and performances will be held in the sidelines of the exhibition cum fair, the ministry announced.
On schedule, the event will be organized annually from 2009. (The People)
