The southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau has so far this year pulled in a total foreign direct investment (FDI) of US$6.66 billion in the first nine months of this year, the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) said.
Foreign investors have to date disbursed over US$4.6 billion in the province, accounting for 18.5% of the locality’s total registered FDI of roughly US$26 billion.
The province is now home to 12 industrial parks covering a total area of 8,632 hectares.
It was followed by Binh Duong province with US$2.45 billion, Ho Chi Minh City with US$1.14 billion, Hanoi with US$383 million and Dong Nai with US$281 million. (Dothi.net)
