More than 800 enterprises in the construction industry are participating in the first Vietbuild Ho Chi Minh City International Expo that officially opened in the city on June 24.
The exhibition, the first of its kind in Ho Chi Minh City, features 2,430 pavilions from 423 domestic enterprises, 215 joint ventures and 162 foreign companies and corporations around the world including Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, the Republic of Korea, Canada, Italy and Japan.
The participants are showcasing the latest high-quality products in numerous fields including construction, construction materials, real estate, home decoration, electrical and sanitary equipment, doors and door fittings.
All exhibits are high-quality products with beautiful design and preeminent features and have been favoured by a large number of consumers.
On the occasion, the organising board will also organise a wide variety of seminars for enterprises, meeting the development of the construction and real estate industry in Vietnam.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Construction Bui Pham Khanh emphasised that over the past 15 years, Vietbuild Expo has become an international economic event, attracting the participation of business community.
The event offers an opportunity for Vietnamese to expand trade relations and investment co-operation as well as access advanced technology and techniques in the world.
The 2016 Vietbuild Ho Chi Minh City International Expo will last until June 28.
