Vinh Phuc province has always created favorable conditions for high-tech enterprises. That is the affirmation of Mr. Le Duy Thanh, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, at the recent meeting with Solum Vina Co., Ltd (Ba Thien 2 Industrial Park). Mr. Le Duy Thanh emphasized that attracting high-tech enterprises is a breakthrough policy and a top priority of Vinh Phuc province, therefore, the province always creates the most favorable conditions for high-tech enterprises to develop and contribute more to the socio-economic development of the province.
Representative of Solum Vina Co., Ltd. introduces to Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duy Thanh new products expected to be put into production in the near future
Established in 2016, Solum Vina Co., Ltd. is a 100% South Korean-invested enterprise, specializing in the production of module power products, providing power for electronic products, and electronic shelf labels (ESLs). In 8 years since its establishment, the company has created stable jobs for nearly 3,000 employees; annual revenue increased by 34% on average. Solum Vina reached US$1.3 billion in revenue in 2022 and it strives to reach US$2.2 billion in revenue in 2023. In the last six months of 2023, Solum Vina is expected to produce some new products such as electric car chargers, smart lights and car batteries, in order to meet the market’s demand, in line with the orientation of attracting investment, contributing to the development of high-tech products manufacturing industry in Vinh Phuc province.
At the meeting, members of the delegation discussed the outstanding advantages of new products that are expected to be launched by Solum Vina in the coming time. The meeting also provided solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles related to production and business activities, as well as Solum Vina’s strategy of developing new products.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Le Duy Thanh highly appreciated the development of Solum Vina Co., Ltd and affirmed that Vinh Phuc always creates the most favorable conditions for the company. Mr. Le Duy Thanh wished that Solum Vina will accompany Vinh Phuc province, especially in the field of high-tech vocational training. Accordingly, Chairman Le Duy Thanh asked Solum Vina Co., Ltd. to coordinate with Vinh Phuc Vocational College to annually train skilled workers for the high-tech industry.
Regarding the training of high-quality human resources, Mr. Thanh wished that Solum Vina Co., Ltd. will further facilitate workers in the province to participate in training courses. Mr. Le Duy Thanh affirmed that Vinh Phuc is willing to support Solum Vina to establish a high-tech research and development center in the province.
