The highlight of the livestream was the Chairman of the Tung Thien Ward People’s Committee appearing live alongside an artisan to introduce Vinh Coba artistic glass paintings, OCOP products and the story of the craft village, attracting more than 3,000 viewers.
On the morning of August 16, the Tung Thien Ward People’s Committee, in coordination with the ward’s General Services Center, organized a livestream to promote Vinh Coba artistic glass paintings, opening a series of digital communications activities aimed at introducing the locality’s cultural destinations, craft villages and signature OCOP products.

Notably, the program was attended by Nguyen Viet Dat, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Tung Thien Ward People’s Committee, and Meritorious Artisan Pham Hong Vinh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CoBa Artistic Glass Joint Stock Company.
The direct participation of local leaders in the livestream not only created a highlight for the program but also demonstrated the authorities’ support for businesses, artisans and OCOP producers in applying digital technology to promote products and expand markets.

During nearly an hour of broadcasting, viewers were taken on a tour of the Vinh Coba artistic glass painting exhibition space, learning about the nearly 40-year journey of preserving and developing the art of sculptural glass painting, and exploring OCOP products imbued with Vietnamese cultural values.
The program also brought viewers closer to the process of creating glass paintings, highlighting the combination of modern technology and the artisan’s skillful craftsmanship. Notably, a glass painting engraved with the Tung Thien Ward logo was introduced for the first time during the program, creating a distinctive mark in promoting the locality’s image.
Chairman of the Tung Thien Ward People’s Committee Nguyen Viet Dat said that, alongside improving product quality, effectively leveraging digital platforms would help bring local products closer to consumers while creating more opportunities to connect production, trade and tourism.
Tung Thien Ward will continue to accompany and support businesses and artisans in trade promotion, tourism connectivity and the application of digital technology, thereby gradually bringing the locality’s signature products to a wider range of consumers.

The appeal of the new communications approach was demonstrated by the results of the livestream, which attracted more than 3,000 viewers, 3,247 reactions, 1,855 favorites, 1,378 likes, 546 comments and 181 shares.
From a livestream promoting artistic glass paintings, Tung Thien Ward is experimenting with a broader approach: bringing values preserved in craft villages and local communities into the digital space.
If maintained regularly and linked with distinctive local products, destinations, artisans and cultural stories, this approach could help create an additional channel for trade promotion, expand markets for local products, and promote the image of Tung Thien in a more accessible, direct manner that is suited to current communications trends.
