First Vietnamese Tycoon Buys a Private Aircraft

Businessman Doan Nguyen Duc who builds Hoang Anh Gia Lai property group has become the first Vietnamese owning a private aircraft which he bought last week, state media reported Monday.
 
Duc bought a Beechcraft King Air 350 at US$7 million after he was consulting with local authorities about the conditions to operate his plane, Duc told state media.
 
He will hire a Vietnamese pilot for his U.S.-made plane which has 12 seats, Duc noted.
 
State media also reported that chairman of Vinacapital Investment Fund is seeking to buy his own private jet. However, it did not give detail on price. (Dan Tri Sunday)
