Vietnam Tax Authorities to Collect US$18.727 Bln This Year, up 23 per cent On Year

The Vietnamese tax authorities have estimated that the sector will collect VND309 trillion (US$18.727 billion) for state coffer this year, representing an on year rise of 23 per cent, Vietnam News Agency said, citing tax authorities.
 
The total sum will include VND98 trillion (US$5.939 billion) of crude oil, 149.4 per cent higher than the year’s target and up 23 per cent from a year ago, VND211 trillion (US$12.787 billion) of domestic tax collection, up 21.1 per cent on year.
 
All the tax authorities across Vietnam have fulfilled the year’s targets, the newspaper said.
 
Next year, the sector has set a target of tax collection to be up 5 per cent on year, it added. (Vietnam & World Report)
