Japan’s Toshiba Group has just opened its Asia Pacific representative office in Ho Chi Minh City.
Toshiba Industrial Products Asia Co, established last December, will begin constructing a factory on 8 hectares of land in southern Dong Nai province’s Amata Industrial Park next month.
The US$77 million facility is expected to begin operation next year to produce high-efficiency industrial motors of less 100 horsepower, plus their parts, to meet the demand in Vietnam and other markets. (VNBusinessNews)
