Australian & New Zealand Bank (ANZ) plans to open an additional six branches in Vietnam, an ANZ representative asserted at a meeting between Vietnamese PM Nguyen Tan Dung and Australian business delegation in Hanoi on April 15.
Though Vietnam’s economy is facing difficulties, ANZ still considers Vietnam as a key market in the region and keeps confident in long-term investment opportunities in the country, the representative said.
ANZ has been in Vietnam for nearly 15 years and is one of nearly 40 foreign banks in the country. (chinhphu.vn)
