Trading Emissions Plc, a U.K. investor in environmental and emissions assets, is seeking permission from the government of Vietnam to build a wind-to-power plant in central Ninh Thuan province, the Ministry of Industry and Trade said on its website.

The plant may cost $150 million, the ministry attributed.

Information about the plant’s estimated output and the time for groundbreaking, however, has not yet been made available.

A survey by the World Bank showed that Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan provinces have the greatest potential for harnessing wind energy with high and sustainable speed. (Young People)
