Minh Phu Seafood Joint Stock Company (coded MPC) announced on its website that it gained US$31.8 million from export of 2,967 tons of seafood in the first four months of this year, meeting 20 per cent of full-year target.
The firm’s seafood export volume and value in April accounted for nearly 40 per cent that of the first quarter. It exported 2,160 tons worth US$22.87 million between January and March.
MPC made a profit of VND49 billion (US$2.89) in the first quarter, up 132 per cent on year, thanks to the reduction of financial investment.
