Mexico’s embassy in Vietnam will hold Vietnam-Mexico Trade and Tourism Conference 2009 at Melia Hanoi Hotel in Hanoi on August 25.
This will be a chance for Vietnamese travel firms to expand business activities in Mexico, one of the world’s emerging tourism markets.
The event will provide local travel companies and exporters with important information about the two-side tourism cooperation potentials.
Mexico has 3000 year old culture and is home to 26 world heritage sites recognised by UNESCO, white-sand beaches of the Caribbean, nice colonial cities and towns and many other attractive places. In 2007, Mexico was ranked the 8th worldwide in terms of tourist number with 22 million. The impressive figure brought the country a revenue of US$13 billion, ranking it the 14th in the world of tourism revenue.
