Vietnam Oks Construction of VND2.32T Bridge

The Vietnamese Ministry of Transport has recently decided to invest VND2.323 trillion (US$130.256 million) to build a bridge crossing Red River in Hanoi, the state-run Tuoi Tre newspaper reported Friday.
 
Construction of the four-lane bridge is slated to start in 2010 and to be completed in December 2013.
 
Once completed, Vinh Thinh Bridge connecting Noi Bai-Lao Cai Highway and Ho Chi Minh Road is expected to boost socio-economic development of urban areas surrounding Hanoi. Youth Sept 18 p6)
