U.S. Deputy Secretary of State James B. Steinberg to Visit Vietnam

Deputy Secretary of State James B. Steinberg will lead an interagency delegation to Vietnam, Malaysia, China, Republic of Korea, and Japan September 25-October 1.

The delegation will visit Hanoi from September 26-27. Deputy Secretary Steinberg will exchange views with senior level officials of Vietnam on a wide range of bilateral, regional, and global issues and reaffirm the United States’ commitment to engagement with its allies and partners in the region.
