Vietnam Okays First Private Cargo Airline

Trai Thien Joint Stock Airline has got the Vietnamese prime minister’s approval to transport cargoes by air, becoming the country’s first private cargo airline, the government said on its website September 29.
 
The PM has assigned the Ministry of Transport to license the firm under Vietnam’s Civil Aviation Law.
 
The company, which now has a registered capital of VND500 billion, expects to use Boeing 727-300 for cargo transport nationwide, Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia. (Chinhphu.vn, Trai Thien’s Website)
