Vietnam invested VND2.88 trillion (US$161.2 million) into its agricultural infrastructure development in the first ten months of 2009, fulfilling 97.5% of the year’s plan, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Of the total, VND1.86 trillion was disbursed into irrigation projects, VND123.6 billion into forestry projects and VND379.2 billion into other agricultural infrastructure projects, the ministry. (Vietnam Economic Times)
