Vietnam and Russia are trying to boost the bilateral trade to $10 billion in the next years, up from $1.64 billion in 2008.

The target was set during a meeting between Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin during his two-day visit to Russia ended Dec. 15, the Vietnamese government said.
