Vietnam Ministry Oks Final Report on $1.7B Expressway Proj in South

 The Vietnamese Ministry of Transport has approved the final report of Ben Luc-Long Thanh expressway project that will cost $1.7 billion in the southern region.
 
Vietnam Expressway Development and Investment Co. (VEC) is the project developer   and the Asian Development Bank is expected to finance the project.
 
The 58-kilometer long and four-lane expressway will link Ho Chi Minh City with Trung Luong expressway in Long An province and Bien Hoa-Vung Tau expressway in Dong Nai province.
 
This is one of seven expressways in Ho Chi Minh City’s traffic development planning by 2020 approved by the government in 1997. (Investment)
