Cote d'Ivoire wants to import Vietnamese rice due to reasonable prices and high quality, said the Vietnam’s Trade Office in Morocco.

The office said the foreign country’s demand for rice is growing sharply, forcing it to import from 700,000 to one million tons of rice annually, the Nong thon ngay nay newspaper reported Tuesday.

Currently, Asian countries like the Philippines and Malaysia are the biggest importers of Vietnamese rice. (Countryside Today)
