Ho Chi Minh City has attracted a total registered foreign direct investment (FDI) of $27.71 billion to date, taking the lead in terms of FDI attraction nationwide.
Between January and April, the municipal authority licensed 112 projects valued at $444 million and allowed 34 existing projects to add $82 million, down 21% and 17% on year, respectively.
This year the city expects to attract $8.4 billion in FDI, over four folds higher than last year’s figures, and disburse $1.43 billion of that value, up 33.14% on year. (VIR
