The U.K. real estate agent Knight Frank said on November 2 that it would open a property center in Vietnam’s capital of Hanoi this month, in a move to tap the local real estate market.

John Gallander, country manager of Knight Frank Vietnam, said that the property center will be a one-stop shop for anyone in the capital city looking to view property for sale.

Developers from across the country would be able to use the facilities including 200 square meters of project display area, plasma televisions and the company’s trained sales teams to support their sales, Gallander said.

The company said it is looking for a location in Ho Chi Minh City to open its second property center.

Knight Frank currently has two offices in Vietnam. These offices work as an independent company, providing a wide range of services, including property sale, lease, management, price appraisal, counseling and market research.

Knight Frank has pinned high hopes on Vietnam, where there is a moderate amount of real estate service providers.

Foreign firms have been dominating the domestic real estate service market with a combined share of 90%. CBRE Vietnam, Savills Vietnam and Colliers are the leading players in the sector. (Saigon Economic Times)
