Gartner 2011 Worldwide RDBMS Market Share Reports 48.8 percent market share for Oracle based on total software revenue.

Oracle grew at 18 percent, exceeding both the industry average (16.3 percent) and the growth rates of its closest competitors.

Oracle’s RDBMS is more than the next four competitors in the report combined.
