Ho Chi Minh City will introduce seven river tours in May 2013, starting from Bach Dang Wharf in District 1 to Binh Quoi, Cu Chi, Long Phuoc in District 9, and other attractions in the city.
Ms Nguyen Thi Hong, Vice Chairwoman of HCM City People’s Committee, said river tours have been developed in HCM City for decades but they are poorly organised. Now, the city will restructure and develop them into key tourism products. Saigontourist Holdings will take the lead to develop this product.
