Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) said two of its ethanol production projects in Binh Phuoc and Phu Tho provinces have to halt production due to new difficulties.
The Binh Phuoc province facility has been put into operation but its products are being exported at a loss while domestic consumption stalls. Meanwhile, the Phu Tho province project is halted because investors and contractors have failed to reach an agreement on augmented expenses.
