6:20:51 PM | 25/8/2013

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced the application of new regulations on all imported foods, including seafood.

The two new regulations require all US importers to verify foreign suppliers to ensure their application of standard food safety measures equivalent to those applied by producers and processors in the US. Foreign food safety evaluation agencies are also imposed by the new regulations.
