The Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee said the city had 4,704 companies resuming operations in the first nine months of 2013, accounting for 30 percent of 15,343 companies halted in the reporting period. This signalled that many companies have overcome difficulties.
The company also had 19,254 newly-established businesses with a total registered capital of VND86,669.6 from January to September. In addition, 26,692 companies registered to add VND88,786.1 billion to their business operations. In total, new registered capital grossed VND175,407.7 billion.
