INEXIM DAKLAK - Quality and Prestige

Daklak Investment, Import and Export Company (Inexim Daklak) is a State-owned enterprise established in 1976. The company survived a difficult early period in its operation. In 1986, it mobilised resources to plant 8,222 hectares of coffee and purchased new equipment. As a result, the company increased its export value, reaching US$100 million by 1995.

Currently the main export is coffee, comprising 78 per cent of value. The company continues to improve its coffee quality to meet the ever increasing demands of customers. With a modern Japanese production line and technology, the company's products have achieved an international standard and won a gold medal of the Ministry of Industry. Their products have been exported to 55 countries including Switzerland, Japan, the US, the UK and Germany.

In 28 years of development, Inexim Daklak has made important contributions to the State revenues and the development of the province. The company was awarded the Labour Order Third Class in 1986 and 1995. In the coming years, the company will continue to improve its business activities and competitiveness, focusing on high quality coffee such as polished coffee beans of 16-95 per cent, 85-100 per cent, categories AGF, Nestle Japan, TCVN4193-2991, Cuptest or special orders from customers. The company has also engaged in other business activities including exporting pepper, other agricultural products, labour and experts, developing infrastructure, apartments and offices.

Like many others, Inexim Daklak is in the process of equitisation, beginning with its branches to become more dynamic and competitive in the new economy. Continuing its success story, the company will improve its products to gain prestige in the world market.
