The Ministry of Transport announced a new coastal shipping route between central Quang Binh province and Kien Giang province in a bid to ease the pressure of cargo transportation on roads.
The new shipping route comprises two sections: One from Quang Binh to Binh Thuan and another from Binh Thuan to Kien Giang. The ministry said the route will substantially ease the burden on road transportation and reduce transportation costs. The route will operate within 12 nautical miles from the shore.
