The Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee said the province has invested VND110 trillion for infrastructure and marine economic development from 2011 to 2015, accounting for 80 percent of the province’s investment budget. Of the sum, the State Budget has contributed 30 percent.
Kien Giang province has attracted over 300 coastal projects covering an area of over 10,000 ha and costing over VND138,189 billion of investment capital. 98 have gone into operation.
