APEC Symposium on Trade and Innovation

In the framework of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Forum, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will coordinate with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to organise the APEC Symposium on Trade and Innovation in Hanoi on May 19, 2017.

The event will include an open dialogue session with APEC Trade Ministers on two themes: Adopting policies to facilitate creative environment; and government roles in advancing commercialisation of innovations in APEC member economies, especially in developing economies.

The symposium will also have a ceremony to present awards to the SME Application Development Competition co-organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, Google and the Asian Foundation in honour of innovations of companies in applying science and technology to trade development and export expansion for Vietnamese companies.
