UNI-President Builds Feed Mill in Tien Giang Province

UNI-President Group of Taiwan recently leased an additional 4.9 hectares in My Tho Industrial Park in Tien Giang province to build a US$19.52-million feed mill that is planned to become operational in March 2006, bringing the group’s total rent land in Vietnam to 15 hectares with duration of 49 years.

Lo Chih Hsien, vice general director of UNI, said it has invested US$150 million in Vietnam from 2000 in producing aquaculture and animal feed, wheat flour, soft drinks, and instant noodles and all the products are attached with the trademark of "Unif". Total revenues of UNI-President are expected at US$100 million in 2005 and US$300 million in 2010.
